Why Most People are NPCs

Most people were essentially bred for working factory jobs: that is standing 8 hours near conveyor belt and doing the same thing over and over again. As technology progressed, these tasks gradually became more and more primitive and rudimental. That is why most people are but dumb NPCs

Now that automation allows robots to do these things, all these humans bred for factory are no longer needed. Just as draught horses were no longer needed when automobile was invented. What happened to the horses back then is now happening to all of us.

To quote Black Lagoon, we are the living dead.

All these questions of whether collectivism or individualism work or not are but irrelevant in face of this simple economic fact.

Things worked in the past because government needed you alive to do your 8 hours long factory work. To that end it kept you alive by providing you with housing, food, childcare, education, etc... Now it no longer needs you, so it abandoned you to die.

Somehow those of us who is somewhat smarter than average and whose brains have not yet atrophied from factory work now all gathered here and discussing things. That is why I posted the above information here. Maybe some of you will come up with some good plan based on it.
